QA Manager (Contract)

Quality Assurance Strategy and Implementation:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies tailored to the specific needs of the project.
  • Collaborate and Define testing methodologies, establish quality standards, and implement processes to ensure product excellence.
  • Continuously evaluate, gain feedback and improve QA processes to adapt to changing project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ensure that all QA activities comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
  • Ensure that the QA processes are aligned with the development team need and player and expectations.
  • Incorporate player feedback into QA strategies and processes to enhance product quality.
Cross-disciplinary collaboration and leadership:
  • Foster collaboration and communication across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Act as a liaison between developers, project leads, and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate QA requirements, address issues, and facilitate problem-solving to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on QA progress, challenges, and improvements to senior contributors and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team leadership on the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to ensure product reliability and stability.
Technical Integration:
  • Enhance the overall productivity of the development team by implementing and optimizing automation strategies in partnership with the automation engineer on the development team.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the product and testing processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the QA team is using the most effective tools and techniques.
QA Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor a small team of external QA professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QA team.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the QA team, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Actively engage in the team's work, directly contributing to QA tasks and projects alongside team members.
  • Work closely and support the team on dissecting feedback to address quality issues and improve the overall user experience.

This contract would be up to 12 months, and the base salary range for this position is $150,000-200,000. The range doesn't tell the whole story - we are always open to candidates at different stages in their careers and consider candidates' potential impact holistically, not just their years of experience or skill level. In addition to a base salary, this role will be eligible for full health benefits including medical, dental, vision and more (plus paid time off).
